Filmmaker Ed eats milk, and cheese, and … animals. He wears leather shoes and woolen jumpers. When an animal rights organization asks him to make a documentary about the impacts of humans on the animal world, Ed realizes that he is completely alien to their animal loving culture and that to carry out the project, he must first convince himself.

Moving beyond pork chops and sausages, he quickly learns just how ubiquitous animal products are in our daily lives.
